Oslo´s cutest, biggest,  and brightest music festival, Øyafestivalen.

Sound artist Amund Ulvestad and I will take the stage on August 10th.

Adjust is the first single from Bendik Giske´s upcoming album “Surrender” – a subjective portrayal of the act of surrender which draws upon experiences in Berlin´s queer techno scene.

Adjust was recorded in a hidden mausoleum in Oslo in one take, blending voice, saxophone, body and space in a higher unity. Repetition provides a form for the ineffable, a pulse against which the sacred can be held and measured.

The Berlin based artists Rein Vollenga X LVM has responsed to the album with a sculpture depicted on the cover.

Available on Spotify Itunes Bandcamp etc

From my upcoming album. Recorded on location in one take. No overdubs and no fake reverb, just the beautiful Emanuel Vigelan Museum in Oslo.

Here´s a video of one of the performances I did during my residency at The Banff Centre.
